CAIN Philosophy and Political Stance

The Reserve is an apolitical entity serving the CEP and the State as a whole, much like the Caldari Navy. CAIN considers itself an adjunct to the Caldari military apparatus, which includes the Navy, as well as the various corporate security forces and select military contractors (i.e. Mordu’s Legion). While most of CAIN members lean towards the Patriot faction, the corporation itself does not have any official positions one way or another, other than that nothing should be allowed to trump the need to maintain the security of the State and its citizens.

The Reserve has a good relationship with the Amarr paramilitaries, with some more than others, reflecting positive relations between Caldari State, Amarr Empire and Khanid Kingdom. CAIN also has fairly good relations with a number of Placid-based Intaki corporations, as the economic development of the Intaki is in State's best interests. Generally, CAIN, much like the State itself, tends to be more defensive in its nature, focusing its current military doctrine on deterrence and containment. As long as the State or its interests are not affected, CAIN tends not to interfere in affairs of others. CAIN forces are currently centered in the Black Rise region of State space, engaging Gallente and pirate forces in the area and working closely with a number of other militia corporations to secure the borders of the State.
